University of Ghana Releases 2024/2025 Academic Calendar for Undergraduate Students (Level 200-400)

The University of Ghana has unveiled its 2024/2025 academic calendar for undergraduate students in levels 200 to 400. The new academic year begins with the crucial Monday, August 19, 2024 deadline for uploading and linking first semester courses to lecturers.

Registration for all continuing students will commence from Wednesday, September 4, 2024, and run through Friday, October 11, 2024. Continuing students are expected to report from Thursday, September 26, 2024, to Monday, September 30, 2024, with teaching officially starting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Key university events include WEAR UG DAY on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, followed by the University of Ghana Open Day on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and Friday, October 18, 2024. The deadline for course registration, add/drop, and deferment is also set for Friday, October 11, 2024.

Examination schedules for the first semester include interim assessments from Monday, November 4, 2024, to Sunday, November 17, 2024. The teaching period will end on Friday, December 20, 2024, allowing students to break for the holidays before resuming for revisions from Monday, January 6, 2025, to Friday, January 10, 2025. First semester exams are scheduled from Saturday, January 11, 2025, to Sunday, February 2, 2025.
